About me
I was born in Italy in the late 1980s.
My early life was a blend of academic pursuits and a quest for understanding the world around me. My educational journey was deeply influenced by a fascination with the natural world, ignited by a few inspiring teachers during my school years.
This period was also when I began to explore the world beyond my immediate surroundings. These adventures were not just about discovering new places but also about understanding different cultures and languages, which has been a lifelong passion of mine.
At the beginning of the 2010s, I moved to London, a city that has since become my home.
Following a lengthy tenure in academia, I transitioned into the technology sector. I’ve had the opportunity to work in diverse environments, from startups to major companies. These experiences have taught me much about leadership, teamwork, and the importance of empathy in the workplace.
The challenges of my corporate role, coupled with the isolation brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, led to a period of introspection and reevaluation. This phase was also marked by personal health challenges. Alternative therapies led me to the threshold of the mystical, a concept I had always rationalised away in my scientific pursuits.
Through this blog, I aim to share insights from my journey. This space is an exploration of the confluence of life experiences, the lessons they teach us, and how they shape our worldview.
